I have been on the trail summer and winter. The morning I heard a presentation on the history of oil and gas production in Albert County. The area of oil fields is just east of the trail.

THE WIDE OPEN SPACE ! NATURE ! WILD LIFE! CLEAN AIR! VEGETATION AND EXERCISE WE CAN ENJOY AT LOW OR NO COST.!
MOST OF ALL THE GREAT OUTDOORS IN PEACE WITH NO FEAR.
This is one of our greatest natural resources, important to the rest of the world that in our search to get unnecessarily rich we forget about or even destroy .
WAKE UP CANADA TO WHAT YOU HAVE THAT IS UNIQUELY VALUABLE ! IT IS NOT GAS OR OIL.!
